SCORM Compliant Learning Management System

What is SCORM?

Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a set of standards and specifications for web-based e-learning software. SCORM defined how learning content should be packaged into units that can be shared and re-used across SCORM-compliant systems.

The “Sharable Content Object” part of SCORM references the units of online training material that can be shared across systems.

“Reference Model” reflects the fact that SCORM isn’t actually a standard. SCORM simply references existing educational standards and tells developers how to properly use them together.

What Does this Mean for Dealerships?

If you dealership has existing SCORM-compliant content, loading that content on the Cloud Trainer platform is fast and easy. The Cloud Trainer LMS has a unified fluidic player that automatically adapts to serve learners every major type of media.

If you do not have SCORM-compliant content, you can still easily create learning modules for your employees by uploading PowerPoints, Word documents, PDF files, and videos.
